Joe Henderson joined the Westminster athletic staff in the fall of 2014.
Alongside his position at Westminster, Henderson serves as the head softball coach at Battle High School for the past two years. He also works as a substitute teacher for the Columbia Public Schools.
Henderson has coached at all levels of baseball and softball. He was an assistant coach at Lincoln University and most recently an assistant coach at Columbia College for three seasons. He has coached at the high school level for seven years and has been a head coach at two high schools in the past six years. He has compiled a 86-63 record and brought the team to winning seasons each year.
Henderson played All-Navy Softball, as well as semi-professional baseball in Milwaukee, Wisc. that lead to a tryout with the Kansas City Royals.
Henderson earned his B.A. in Business Management from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia.
Joe currently lives in Columbia, Missouri with his wife, Linda Henderson.
Sara joined the Westminster athletic staff in the fall of 2014.
On top of her assistant coaching duties at Westminster, Coach Stafford assists at Battle High School.
Coach Stafford started her college career at North Central Missouri College before transferring to Quincy University in Quincy, Illinois to finish her remaining two years. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Sports Management and a minor in Studio Art.
Coach Stafford is a native of Columbia, Missouri and currently resides there.
Caroline Sicht joined the Westminster athletic staff prior to the 2016 season.
On top of her coach duties at Westminster, Coach Sicht is a high school assistant coach.
Coach Sicht played collegiately for William Woods University in Fulton, Mo. She amassed a careeer batting average of .331 during her four-year career. She was a starting third baseman and a designated hitter much of her career. She participated in two national tournaments and was named to the American Midwest Conference All-Conference Team once. She was named the NAIA Player of the Week twice and earned numerous AMC Player of the Week awards throughout her career.
Coach Sicht played her high school career in Columbia, Mo. for Rock Bridge High School and earned All-District honors all four years, as well as All-Region her junior and senior year.
She earned a Bachelor's degree in communication with a minor coaching from William Woods University and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in agricultural communications at the University of Missouri.
She currently resides in Columbia, Missouri.
Paula Turnbull joined the Westminster athletic staff at the end of the 2015 spring season.
Alongside her duties at Westminster, she also works with Battle High School softball program in Columbia, Mo with Coach Henderson and Coach Stafford.
Up until November 2015, she was an active member of the board of directors for the Daniel Boone Little League softball and baseball programs in Columbia, Mo for over 20 years. In 2013, she was named the Mentor of the Year by the Women's Intersport Network for Columbia. She has played and coached for over 15 years in women’s fastpitch leagues while playing with and coaching many players that went on to play and coach in college.
Coach Turnbull attended Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo. She is a native of Monroe City, Mo. but has resided in Columbia, Mo. since attending Truman State University
